Welcome to Another New Thing by Kareem Rahma
Hey, it’s me, Kareem Rahma. It’s 6:35PM on a Monday and I’m so happy you’re reading this because that means you clicked on "about” and are curious to learn more about me.
I’m a comedian, writer and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. But I’m also a musician. And a filmmaker. And a former entrepreneur. I also used to be a media executive and worked at Vice and The New York Times. I’m also a new dad. I also created and am the host of 2 very popular internet shows. One is called SubwayTakes and the other is called Keep The Meter Running.
I’m a lot of stuff—we all are. But social media tries to flatten us into one-dimensional people. But I like to do a lot of stuff, and I want to share it.
And that’s the vibe of Another New Thing – a place for me to share what I’m working on, experiment with new formats, try new things, and keep you updated on all the happenings in my life."
What do I get as a paid subscriber?
A few special articles each month including my ‘Table For One’ column
Access to comments and chats
Maybe some other stuff?
